Treasured, my newest release

New Release Alert! And I was in the middle of fucking nowhere and couldn’t put this out any sooner! AAAAHHHH!!!!

But I’m not unforgivably late. This is my newest story, the standalone m/m urban fantasy novella Treasured, published by Pink Petal Books. You can read more about it/buy it here:

Have a blurb:

Daniel Hart is a graduate student at the University of Arcane Studies, who works in a museum and mostly enjoys his calm, routine life. Everything changes when he meets Rhys Daveth, a visiting businessman with mysterious connections who pursues him with a passion that Daniel has never experienced before. The chemistry between them is undeniable, but things take a turn for the worse when Daniel is arrested for a crime he didn't commit, one that he suspects his new lover had a hand in. Once the truth comes out, Daniel will have to choose between the future he had planned and something deeper, more exciting and far more dangerous than he could have imagined.

Here’s the cover. Another thing of beauty, is it not?

I’m very lucky to be working with Mary at Pink Petal Books, and I hope you guys enjoy the story as much as I enjoyed writing it. This is not typical author cliché: I freaking loved writing this story. The characters and the world are so much fun, there are heists and strange magical powers and guilt-tripping mothers and lots of hot sex…oh so fun. The link leads to an excerpt as well, so go all out.

I’m guest blogging on Victoria Blisse’ website on Friday (go to I’ll be talking about the escape that stories provide, not just for the reader but for the author as well, and pushing this new release. Please look me up, send me a comment, say hi. Bonus points to people who know how to say hi in Moba. In fact, if you know how to say hi to me in Moba I’ll send you a wordy present. I’m friendly that way:)

  1. Just finished reading 'Treasured'. I'm no literary expert but (using non-expertical terminology) I'd call it a "winner"! Seriously though, I really enjoyed it. I do feel that Danny was a bit (or a lot) too quick to forgive Reese in the end. BUT I liked Reese's character enough that I didn't believe he was a total scoundrel who was unworthy of forgiveness. I can tell there are lots of layers to Reese. Maybe we'll read more about he and Danny in the future. (I hope, I hope, I hope!) I'm still imagining all of the magical mischief those two will get up to in the future! What an interesting and neat world you created! I'm looking forward to reading 'Spirited' and learning more about it.

  2. Yay Tiffany, thanks for the support! The Treasured world is a fun one and I hope to write more set there, but we'll see. Sales and contracts and numbers, oh my. I'm glad you liked it overall. Constructive criticism is good, I'm always trying to get better.
