New Release: Soothsayer

It's heeeere! And it's so beautiful.

Cillian Kelly can look into people’s eyes and see their fates. He’s running from a past filled with mistakes, lying low and selling his services on the sly. When he learns that Sören Egilsson, a man who sacrificed himself so Cillian could escape imprisonment two years ago, is somehow still alive, Cillian has to find out how. What he gets is the body of the man he loves possessed by an ancient spirit who draws Cillian into a battle to the death for the right to control Sören’s fate, and the power that comes with it.

You can find it at the Nine Star Press website and on Amazon:

Right, so, I know a lot of my blog people have read this before. Yes, it's the story I wrote here. It's been spruced up, edited to within an inch of its life, and I've included missing scenes in the blog tour, so if you follow along you'll get more info and a peek into the future.

Sequel potential? Like, say, what happened in Vegas and what will happen if Cillian has to go there again? Yes, yes, and yes! Check the book out, and if you're interested in more let me know! The more people reach out to me, the higher the probability I'll write the next piece of Cillian's story.

Two Fantastic Things

Hi there darlins!

It's time for news, news, news. My feet have recovered, my fingers are flying and I've got all sorts of stuff going on. The big things lately are this:

Firstly, my upcoming Riptide release Friendly Fire is available for preorder. It comes out in October, but preorder and you get it a whole weekend early! Elliot the conman-made-good, Lennox the frustrated cinnamon roll, plus a teenage girl, a tiny dog, intrigue, drama and, of course, firefights. Because yeah, I might have written something contemporary but I'll be damned if there isn't something/someone getting shot or blown up in it.

The other thing...do you guys remember Soothsayer? Cillian Kelly making bad choices and a landvaettir inhabiting the body of his lover as they swung along for the ride? Pretty banner?

I reworked the lame parts, edited the whole thing and sold it to Nine Star Press! Urban fantasy fun ftw! I'm very excited to be working with them again. Now, the bad part...I had to take most of the story down off the blog. The posts are still there, but only the first few paragraphs of story remain, if that. I've gotta be fair, after all. I hope if you've read it before you'll want to pick up the new and improved version, and if not...hey, at least you got it for free in the first place, right?

That's it for now! I'm working on a few other interesting things, including some fun collaborations I look forward to telling you more about, but the next thing to look forward to is the culmination of The Train, coming on Tuesday.

New Release: Perilous

Hi guys!

It's been a busy month. Like, seriously busy between day job, RT and new releases. The last of these is my new release today, which some of you may be familiar with: Perilous, formerly known as The Captain.

My one and only work of historical fiction, set in a time period I adore: the Napoleonic Era and the Age of Sail. Sea battles! Cannons! Obscure nautical terms! Seamen! Lots and lots of seamen!

In all honesty, I love this story, and I'm grateful to NineStar Press for taking it on and editing the crap out of it. They've made it better, and I hope you give it a try. If you love Horatio Hornblower, Aubrey Maturin or just enjoy a good action story, you'll like Perilous!
