New Spanish Translation: Diferentes Esferas!

Hi guys!

Look at this gorgeous cover!!!

I've had this for a week but only had the time to post it today, now that I'm back from my trip to Japan. That was awesome and I'll talk about it later, but for now, Traductores Anónimos has graciously done a fantastic new Spanish translation of my story Different Spheres, which was published with Dreamspinner back in 2011. The original blurb is this:

Gil Donaldson returned to his hometown of Boulder, Colorado, after a diagnosis of multiple sclerosis cut short his teaching career and his love life on the East Coast. Waking one morning to find that his vision has gone blurry, which makes driving himself to the hospital out of the question, Gil solicits the help of his slightly-reclusive neighbor, Warren Masters, to take him to the ER.

The two men become friends over the course of Gil’s recovery from his latest relapse, and while Gil recognizes he’s attracted to the other man, he refuses to act on it. Gil doesn’t like relying on anyone else to ensure his emotional or physical health, and he’s grown used to being alone, or at least that’s what he tells himself. Warren is a man of few words, but he’s there whenever Gil needs him, and he has only one request for them to be together.

Sound good? Try it in Spanish!

You can find the Spanish translation of this story in my page links on the right side of the blog, under Diferentes Esferas, or here at AO3, where it's also downloadable: Diferentes Esferas.

Please read and enjoy, and thank you so much for the comments on Dando Bola--I'm sorry I haven't replied yet, life was immensely busy but I'm grateful for every kind word. And please, visit Traductores Anónimos and check out their massive collection of works, they are completely amazing: http://traductores-anonimos.blogspot.com/

New Spanish Translation Available!

Guys guys guys!!!

Look over at the right side of this blog...under Pages...yeah, down at the bottom...what's that? Is it a new Spanish translation of my short story Having A Ball courtesy of Traductores Anonimos? I think it is!

Having A Ball is a story I wrote for the Dreamspinner Anthology Animal Magnetism, about a guy who gets stuck watching his niece's ball python and has to seek help from the sexy vet in the apartment above his. And now you can read it in Spanish! I'm so thrilled, I can't even tell you.

You can read it here, or on AO3, where you can download it in PDF or mobi format. Here's the link: http://archiveofourown.org/works/3306734. I have plans to get it on ARe, but the AO3 format is just the easiest way to start.

It's got an awesome custom cover, did I mention that?

I'm incredibly grateful to the marvelous group at Traductores Anonimos, for their amazing work, and so pleased to be able to offer this story to Spanish-speaking readers. Guys, go check out their blog, it is full of gems: http://traductores-anonimos.blogspot.com.es/.

In other news...I'll have a vignette for our boys up later this week (the weekend is just jam packed with writing, oh my gosh) and a new release announcement in a week and a half, so...we're rolling along, guys. Thank you for reading, thank you for checking in, I love you :)

Spanish Translation for Full Credit!

Hi guys!

Okay, so this has taken waaay longer than it should, and so far I've only got the story up in two places, but whatever, I'm getting there. I never claimed not to be a bit of a Luddite. Anyway!

I have available now a Spanish-language translation of You Get Full Credit For Being Alive, courtesy of the amazing group Traductores Anonimos, whom you can find here: http://traductores-anonimos.blogspot.com/ . Sweet! Where, you may ask, can I find this amazing thing to read?

Well, it turns out Blogger isn't as easy to upload PDFs at as some other sites are *coughWordpresscough* so I've done the next best thing, and uploaded both the Spanish translation and the original English version to Archive Of Our Own. Yes, I know it's primarily a fanfic site, but they allow for original fiction too and you can download it in a lot of different formats there. I'm on AO3 as CariZee. Here's the link to my homepage there, and both fics: https://archiveofourown.org/users/CariZee .

Also, if you look over to the right side of my blog under Pages, you'll see a brand new page listed as Toda Una Vida Por Delante, which has links to both the English and Spanish versions of the fic, plus the Spanish-language version itself posted in its entirety. I'm working on getting it uploaded to All Romance Ebooks and Goodreads, but these things take time and I didn't want people to have to wait, so...here it is! Hopefully there will be more to come.

Huge, huge thanks to the translators who worked so hard at this, and also thanks for the fabulous cover art. I'm doing a sequel in the new year, I hope you'll want to translate that too :)
